Another night of hard rolling at Legion. Got to work a bit on kimuras from the bottom of half-guard, the transition to the top if they try to counter, as well as the shin-in half guard and transition to deep half. Rolled with one of the higher belts who was there at Cameron’s request. Guy tore me up pretty good, but I did get a few moments of clarity in there. I definitely feel like this is the right spot for me to be in right now….lots of guys there that have solid technique and know how to roll. It’ll be interesting to see how I do in the Grappler’s Quest in May at the UFC Expo.
